Trello is a web-based collaborative organizational tool that began its development in 2011. It is a project management app that has a simple interface where users can create lists of tasks separated into different categories. The default list categories are to do, doing, and done, but they can be customized. Tasks can be easily moved between the categories through drag and drop functionality. Each task can also be expanded to capture more detailed information. Trello is one of the more widely known apps of this sort but has been receiving more competition from apps such as Asano, Wrke, and Clubhouse.
Trello is very versatile and easy to use. It can be useful for all sorts of applications from help agile project management to a honey-do list. I was introduced to this tool through a group collaboration for a distance learning class at UWF. It was very useful for managing all the various tasks that needed to be completed. It was also compatible as an add-on for Microsoft team which was our primary communication tool. Since then, I have used it with my ESE students to help in organization and have found it to be very useful in this regard. This app should be considered whenever there is a need for organization of and communication about many different tasks between multiple team members
Trello is free for personal use but has two additional options for businesses and enterprises that includes more features. The business class option is priced at $9.99 per user per month. The enterprise option is $20.83 per user per month for up to 294 users. The per user price decreases as the number of users increases with the lowest rate being $5.92 per user per month for enterprises with 5,000 users. Overall, this is a great user-friendly tool for task management.

We used Trello in Flatiron! We also used Miro for realtime collaboration when we were brainstorming.
